Brooks and Devlin are called to investigate when a man is attacked and his kidney is surgically removed. The focus quickly turns to finding the intended recipient of the organ, and the team is horrified to discover that it has been trafficked into the NHS and given to wealthy patient Joanna Woodleigh. When the case is handed over to the CPS, a conflict of interests becomes apparent as Steel and Phillips go up against George Castle in court.
