The start of the potentially lucrative opilio crab season sees 171 boats heading out from Dutch Harbour, Alaska, to hunt them for profit. But shortly after setting off, the Lady Alaska crew discovers smoke on the vessel, forcing Captain Peter Liske to turn around and seek repairs. Meanwhile, companion boat the Big Valley is beset by troubles of its own.
