6-month-old Daniel needs to have a growth removed from his neck. This is an extremely challenging procedure for his surgeons because the growth needs to be removed without damaging the facial and shoulder nerves that run through Daniel's neck. If the nerves are compromised, it could affect his ability to smile and move his face. The programme also meets two brothers who suffer from a severe form of cystic fibrosis.
