The USA is not the only country where people are allowed to keep some of the most dangerous big cats and animals on the planet. The UK's lax dangerous animal laws mean that this country is also a veritable jungle in suburbia - home to over four thousand privately owned tigers, lions, leopards, pumas, wolves, bears, crocodiles, zebras, primates, and poisonous snakes to name but a few. These animals are not in zoos, they are in the house next door to you or across the road! In this eye-opening two-part series Ross Kemp goes on the trail of the larger-than-life characters that are Britain's very own tiger and lion kings and queens. From big cats living in people's gardens to giant lizards in semi-detached houses, snakes in suburbia, and bears in the countryside, Ross wants to find out what on earth the attraction of keeping these deadly animals is, and what is the relationship between them and their keepers. He'll find out where they got them from, what happens when they escape, and ask if it's right that they should even be kept this way.
