Frank trifft sich mit seinem ehemaligen Schulfreund Angelo Gallo zum Abendessen. Der Mafia-Anwalt will nicht länger für den Untergrund arbeiten und plant, sich zurückzuziehen. Direkt nach dem Treffen werden die beiden Männer beschossen, Frank entkommt nur knapp, Gallo wird schwer verletzt. Danny nimmt als Geschworener an einem Mordprozess teil, bei dem der Angeklagte erst 18 Jahre alt ist. Bei der Entscheidung hält Danny den jungen Mann als einziger für unschuldig.
