The plan was to promote the new book, but the trip soon turned into something much more for the Chapman family and their fans. Among the thousands of admirers greeting Dog and Beth at each stop, for some meeting Dog and Beth was their last dying wish. Others came to receive advice, hope and affirmation. Parents brought their troubled teens; many came to share stories of how Dog had inspired them to turn their lives around.
