ÖZET

Their tiny East London flat is too small for Chris Miller, his wife Sze and their two children. They can't afford a bigger place, so they've decided to build a new life, not on land, but on the water. Taking a rusting Thames barge as their starting point, they have just £50,000 to build an environmentally friendly three-bedroom houseboat entirely from recycled scrap. Before long, this anarchic build takes its toll.
