ÖZET

The stakes are raised in the search for a woman abducted by a writer of the occult who was suspected of committing a similar crime 10 years previously. Mark is beaten up and, suspecting Luther is responsible, he tries to get him suspended from the police, prompting the DCI to work through the night with Ripley to find evidence not only of the kidnap victim's whereabouts but of her captor's guilt.
