ÖZET

Judge Michael Jacobi is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain his public impeccability. He has to prevent the frightened car smuggler Zuber from being placed under witness protection and testifying against him. As her longtime mentor, Jacobi tries to influence the young criminal defense attorney Lisa Schwarz.
