ÖZET

Washington, D.C., 1951. Having just lost her job after being labelled a Communist, Emily Crane (Kelly McGillis) stumbles upon a strange espionage plot that is being covered up. She gradually persuades an investigating FBI agent (Jeff Daniels) that she is onto a conspiracy.
