SYNOPSIS

In this fitfully amusing comedy, Norman Wisdom plays a would-be policeman who is reduced to being a Scotland Yard car park attendant because he's not tall enough to be a bobby. Then it turns out that he's the spitting image of a criminal - you can probably guess the rest. Wisdom is funny enough, Jennifer Jayne (one-time lost love of Anthony Newley) is a moderately pert leading lady, and a host of British character actors goes through the motions. But the formula is beginning to wear thin by now and this is pretty simplistic stuff.
