Katharina Strasser lost her baby and learns about Markus's one-night-stand with cop Jessika while he frolics with colleague Carina Behrend in a lonesome log cabin. As secret lover professor Georg Scharnitz drives her back to clinic, they crash on a narrow road with a car whose driver Schorsch and tree fellow joint-smoking student passengers Leon, Andy and Chris dangle over a cliff. Carina and Georg inform the rescue team, which succeeds albeit it last-second for Markus. To cover up, head-injured Scharnitz walks alone into the vale but makes an ankle-disabling and thus is late to perform urgent surgery on Lukas Ferber's kid daughter Sophie. Emilie fears Tobias is emotionally drifting away and occupied with his father's hotel business.
