SINOPSIS

Beautiful and feisty Kate O'Halloran works as a maid in the London home of the socially prominent Courtney family. The daughter of longtime family maid Mrs. O'Halloran, she has grown up around the family and loves handsome young Edward Courtney, a military officer. Against the wishes of his snobby relatives, Edward weds the lower-class Kate, and their marriage endures through the first half of the 20th century.
