SINOPSIS
Canadians became international heroes during the Syrian refugee crisis by opening their doors and sponsoring thousands in need, but how do good intentions stack up against reality? This documentary by Michèle Hozer takes a look at the lives of a rambunctious Syrian family of 13 and their community of well-intentioned sponsors in Picton, Ont., exploring the joys, expectations, and challenges on both sides.
