Summer of Rockets

SINOPSIS

1957. The Petrukhin family attend the Goodwood races where they meet Kathleen and Richard Shaw MP. Over lunch, their eight-year old son Sasha Petrukhin falls ill and is rushed to hospital with appendicitis. Half a term later, Sasha is preparing to go to Downham House boarding school, and his seventeen year old sister Hannah is soon to be presented as a debutant. Both dread their near futures.
