SINOPSIS

Leonard and Caroline seek the help of Dermot Bannon to transform their 1960s three-bedroom semi-detached property in Dundrum, Dublin, which was once owned by Leonard's grandparents. The clients have an extensive wish list, including a redesigned ground floor, new ensuite and a loft conversion, but the architect has his work cut out due to the imminent arrival of the couple's first baby, a limited budget and a forthright builder who has his own ideas about how the house should look - and a bust-up over a misaligned window results in a serious communication rift.
