SINOPSIS

New series. Nature documentary revealing how animals cope with the demands of raising their offspring. The first episode follows newborn lambs and foals as their mothers help them to learn to walk, a gorilla in a safari park going through a difficult birth and a white rhino mutilated by hunters that gives birth to a calf, but will have a hard time protecting it. Plus, a look at how highland cows and pigs nurse their young - and a seal that is not able to. With Adam Henson.
