SINOPSIS

Four contestants compete to host the best dinner party in Oxford, and win the Â£1,000 prize, beginning with Amy who hopes to impress with an indulgent menu. The second evening sees the guests enjoy an evening on ex-naval officer Max's narrow boat, while project manager Sheila hopes her French feast will go down well. Estate agent James rounds up the week and is confident his restaurant-quality menu can help him fend off the competition - but his chances are scuppered when he accidentally takes his sous-vide fillet of beef out of its vacuum pack and boils it.
