SINOPSIS

The brothers mobilize Alaric, Matt, Caroline and reluctant Elena to help kill at least one original, hence all, with the twelve stakes they forged from the remaining white oak shoot's wood. Determined to eliminate Klaus at all costs, Stefan decides to go on even after Rebekah captures Damon for 'punitive' torture. By the time they manage to kill Original Finn, lured with his first love Sage, Klaus has blackmailed Bonnie, by showing he can kill Jeremy and her mother, to magically undo the fatal bond. Sage's own death shows that with an original, his whole bloodline dies, so some will have to be spared if even the Salvatores are to survive. A trade trick goes badly.
