These near neighbours haven't played each other since June 2010, and this is their first-ever meeting at the European Championship finals. Switzerland's last victory over the Azzurri came back in May 1993, when Roy Hodgson masterminded a 1-0 World Cup qualifying victory in Berne thanks to Marc Hottiger's second-half goal.
