SINOPSE

Since George Orwell's "1984' emerged as a paperback in 1954, its changing cover design has reflected each decade's approach to selling the book, while David Pelham's iconic `cog eye' for Anthony Burgess's `A Clockwork Orange" has permeated society since 1972.
