SINOPSE

Liam Neeson narrates the first of this two-part drama documentary in which Martin Luther, leader of the German Protestant Reformation, looks back over the most important moments of his life. The first episode begins with the crisis of faith that led to his nailing his 95 theses or religious precepts to a church door - an act that set the German monk on a path which would eventually reshape Catholicism and Western civilisation.
