SINOPSE

Everyone is back home for the decade dance, with a 1920s theme. Even Tyler risks rejoining lover Caroline, hoping he can persuade Klaus he is still under his vampire sire's spell. Esther, still in Rebekah's body, receives the hidden ultimate stake from Alaric, who agreed to sacrifice his life to eliminate the originals and hence vampires. At the dance, Esther keeps all the vampires bound by a salt spell, which reluctant Bonnie finds hard to break, so Jeremy decides not to wait. Stefan assures Damon and Elena he holds no grudge. Esther forces Elena to supply blood to transform Alaric into the ultimate vampire killer, but then the binding spell is broken.
