SINOPSE

The Doris Day Show | S03 E21 | Colonel Fairburn Jr.

Instead of the obvious choice of Ron the associate editor, Colonel Fairburn appoints his newly graduated son, Clifford Fairburn, managing editor of the magazine during his and Nick's two week business trip. Clifford, who has no practical magazine experience, is nonetheless a chip off the old block: he went to military school, followed by finishing first in his class in business school. And he has traditional conservative values and ideals... or so he would like his father to believe. Once the Colonel and Nick are gone, the real Clifford emerges. In reality, he is a long haired (which was hidden underneath a short-haired wig), meditating hippie with not a conservative thought in his head.
