Without A Compass: Rhodes

SINOPSE

Giannis and Aris visit Rhodes, the island of the Knights! It is the largest island of the Dodecanese and the fourth largest island of Greece. A cosmopolitan destination, with wonderful natural landscapes and many attractions. They race with jet skis and play games on water slides! They watch the training of Dodekanisos - Wheelchair Basketball eam, play a game and chat with the players. The evening brings a feast in a Cretan shop, with traditional costumes and dancing to the song "How they grate the pepper". They show us around Lindos with Zoe Komninoglou, visit the village Archangelos, the residents of which come from Cyprus and chat with the elder women. They visit the Monastery of Panagia Tsampika and discuss with Nikolaos Dimelis, president of Archangelos. They visit the villages Dymilia and Eleousa, discuss with the president Saroukos Nikolaos and show us around a flour mill. They enjoy a buffet of traditional dishes in their honour, prepared by the women of the villages. They visit the village of Lachania and interview Thekla Diakogeorgiou, president of the cultural association. In the old mill, the painter Carla Handel exhibits her works. At the end of the episode, they gaze at a beautiful sunset, letting their eyes wander in the red horizon.
