I Am Bad

SINOPSE

I am bad is the story of a shy, sensitive boy who is led, by way of his abusive upbringing, to realize that he is a serial killer. As a grown man, he meets Anne, an idealistic young therapist who sees in him only a troubled, sweet soul. He falls in love with her and vows to give up killing. In his quest to better himself, he anonymously contacts Anne for help. He encounters a series of colorful, lonely people and tries to resist the temptation to terrorize them. Occasionally, he succeeds. Why is it so bad? The film is entirely from the main character’s point of view. That is, we never see him, we see only what he sees. Each scene is unedited. Characters look directly into the camera (at the audience) when talking to him. When he kills someone, we see his hands as if they were our hands. His actions are our actions.
