SINOPSE

1988. The year of Halabja Massacre. The war will finish soon. And there won't be a victor. To convince Iraqi citizens that the victory is close Saddam uses the most powerful weapon - media. In this country ravaged by the war, a 10-year-old Dileer and his sister Zienee can only dream about watching cartoons. But whichever channel they tune to they can see only soldiers. Even their home is contaminated by the war as their mother and auntie polish used armory to resell it. A provocative and touching short film by Sahim Omar Khalifa, specializing in the Kurdish issues.
