All that Remains to be Seen

SINOPSE

When Silas suddenly can't find his friends in the schoolyard, Christina knows all too well what that means: He's losing his eyesight, just like she did as a child. The doctors had assured her that he couldn't inherit the disease, but they were wrong. Christina decides that Silas should get to se the grand, beautiful nature before his vision disappears, and she brings him along for the journey of a lifetime to Iceland, where they see whales and erupting geysers. She teaches Silas how to make his way through a big city full of noise and construction work, how you listen for when the food is done, and how you keep your friends, even though your disability grows day by day. But the grief and a feeling of being left out is still very present in Christina, and those are emotions that she doesn't want to pass on to her son, even though they are not easily ignored.
