After her son picks Portugal as "his" country in a school display, Christine is surprised to meet a Portuguese woman at the school. She befriends her, partly because the woman took no offense at Christine's Portugal-bashing, and partly because the woman seemed to share Christine's opinion of some of the other mothers at the school.
