With just two legs to go, the pressures on to snag one of the few remaining wins. At the insertion flag, they find a cache of inner tubes, planks, and ropes to design and build handmade rafts durable enough to survive the roughest whitewater theyve faced yet. Coming into leg twelve, the Endurance team leads the field, and they know another win would solidify the championship. But their title bid is soon derailed when a crash pops an inner tube on their raft, and leaves them struggling just to make extraction. Trailing Endurance by two points, Lower 48 knows theyre in a must-win situation. Desperately needing a win, Cluck comes up with a radical raft design the Russian bublik. They take an early lead down the whitewater, but just when they think theyve got it made, their Alaskans competitors pull out all the stops. The Alaskans begin leg twelve in a do-or-die situation. Down by two points, the team needs a win to keep their title hopes alive. But when their small rafts flip on the first stretch of rapids, the team must pick up the pieces and sprint to the finish. The Military team trails Endurance by one point, and wants a win here to tie up their rivals going into the final leg. Charging through the powerful rapids, the Military cant afford to make any mistakes. But when Endurance pulls within striking distance, the team sees their title hopes slipping away
