SINOSSI

Il racconto è incentrato sulla figura di Emma, bella, intelligente e ricca. Emma non pensa affatto al matrimonio, sembra quasi immune all’amore romantico e al desiderio. Però le piace tanto intromettersi nelle scelte d’amore degli altri. Quando prenderà Harriet Smith sotto la sua ala tutti i suoi piani subiranno tuttavia un drastico cambiamento.
