Based on real events, Mission: Arctic is an action-packed production about the era when explorers from all over the world rushed into hazardous and daring expeditions to discover uncharted lands. In this film, two young lieutenants of the Russian navy venture in a journey to the Arctic Ocean on a sailing ship under the leadership of commander Vitus Bering in the summer of 1735. Mission: Arctic not only tells an exciting story of adventure but also about courage, loyalty, faith, honor and, of course, love. Contrary to the imperial prohibition at the time, the and deadly danger ahead of all the members of the expedition, a young girl in love with one of the characters boards the ship. There, no storms or the severe northern frosts and hunger will stop them in their desire to reach the most northeastern point of Eurasia and putting of the vast Arctic territories on the world maps.
