SYNOPSIS

A Mexican telenovela about the romance between Esmeralda Rosales and Jose Armando Peñnareal. Esmeralda is a blind and very poor young girl living in a shack with her stepmother; Jose Armando is a well-educated young doctor from the famous and noble family of Peñnareal who is about to get married. Their lives cross one day when they meet and Jose Armando falls in love with Esmeralda.
