SYNOPSIS

Young Albie Myburgh is the apple of his parents' eyes. He has a rare genetic disorder, fragile X syndrome, that causes developmental problems that mum Jayne believed would lessen in the warmth of the sun. To give him the best possible chance, Jayne was determined to take Albie to Australia, a place where she had yearned to live for a long time. No stranger to hot climates himself, Albie's father, was well aware of his wife's dreams but needed more than a promise of sun.
