SYNOPSIS

When rich editor Parker dies, his second wife Nora inherits the estate and firm. His daughter Lilly's aristocratic fiance, artist Eric Teague, is not amused that she refuses to accept a million pounds and prefers to keep working for the publishing firm, being passed over as a paternity test showed her illegitimate. Searches for her biological father lead to one David Trewyn, alas a common name in Cornwall, and grandmother Grace Turner, whose devoted grandson, studly med study finalist Nicholas Hurley, soon becomes Lilly's lover, while Nora and Eric secretly renew their affair.
