SYNOPSIS

Smatra se da su se angora mačke naselile na području današnje Turske još u vrijeme Bizanta, a nikamo nisu nestale ni poslije - kad je Konstantinopol postao prijestolnica Osmanskog Carstva. Snježnobijele ljepotice s poput svile mekim krznom brzo su se udomaćile u palačama sultana. Prema njima nisu uvijek postupali kraljevski. Osmanskim su vladarima nakon objeda te mačke služile kao, da-da, ubrusi! Doslovno su njima brisali masne ruke. Ali nemojte pomisliti da je to bio znak nepoštovanja. Stvar je u tome da angora mačke imaju specifično krzno, koje doslovno samo odbacuje prljavštinu, mačka se umije i gotovo - opet je čista.
