SYNOPSIS

Festival vatre u Koudi dešava se 25. jula. Vatra se u šintoističkom oltaru praćenim zavetnim fenjerima, u pročelju procesije nosi kroz grad.
Kada procesija stigne do odredišta, mali plamen se prenosi od baklje do baklje, od osobe do osobe, a na kraju se formira mnogo veći plamen, koji osvetljava noćno nebo. Oblast Kouda je na severnoj strani ostrva. Oko 350 ljudi u 120 domaćinstava živi u toj oblasti. Kao jedan od tri najveća festivala vatre, festival u Koudi od davnina se prenosi sa generacije na generaciju.
Ovaj program je obezbeđen u saradnji sa Japanskom fondacijom.
