Pero Gotovac bio je skladatelj, dirigent, producent i dugogodišnji urednik u Jugotonu.
Maestro Gotovac u ovoj je epizodi otvoreno govorio o djetinjstvu uz oca Jakova, prvim glazbenim spoznajama, školovanju na Muzičkoj akademiji u klasi profesora Stančića, radu u Jugotonu, kao i skladanju brojnih popularnih skladbi. U filmu Tonija Volarića saznajemo kako su nastale vječne skladbe Na vankušeku glava, Mesec, seno i noć, Tebi grade moj, Mačka, Finili su Mare bali, pa i glazba za serije Malo misto i Velo misto, te za brojne kazališne predstave.
