SYNOPSIS

Ova epizoda bavi se golemim tehničkim razvojem, koji je uopće omogućio masovno iseljavanje. Parni stroj i propeler ubrajaju se u revolucionarne inovacije 19. stoljeća. Te novine kod mnogih izazivaju oduševljenje. Ali su i obilježene katastrofama. Već i prije potonuća Titanika 1912. O tome govore braća Jules i Paul Verne, austrijski izumitelj Josef Ressel, irski kapetan Siriusa Richard Roberts i Francuskinja Victoire Lacasse, koja je preživjela potonuće La Bourgognea.
