SYNOPSIS

Music City, USA Nashville is at the heart of hillbilly culture and is steeped in a tradition of moonshine and outlaws. On Broadway, the drug network is tight knit and all drugs are home grown. Old-timers grow the finest and largest quantity of weed in the country while do-it-yourself shake and bake meth labs have exploded in popularity. Law enforcement struggles to cope with the lawless self-production and the toxic waste left behind. The solution: fund anti-drug operations through asset forfeiture. In Tennessee police can seize the assets of suspected drug users and dealers. Suspects dont even have to be charged, let alone convicted. With unprecedented access to the tight and secretive network of Tennessees drug world, this film shows the volatile nature of the drug market and how policing the war on drugs is in fact generating an opiate addiction of epidemic proportions.
