SYNOPSIS

Retired FBI profiler Alicia Brown, obsessed with her daughter Sienna's fatal fate, intrudes mastermind suspect Dr. Madison Gray's pathologically cleaned villa alone, then calls Steve, who rushes over hearing about the ivory chess board, only to be overpowered just after her. Chin and Kono, who longs for Adam's impending early parole, smell a rat but have a hard tie localizing Steve, even with Jerry's help, as his GPS was shipped by unsuspected courier van. Gray doesn't fall for talking over tricks, and brings in her 'chess king and queen': serial killer couple Donals and Mallory Witten, who eagerly drive off to dispose of the hostages, who find themselves dumped in a tide-flooded cave trap, where Steve must dive like SEAl again to prevent Alicia drowning, thus becoming her hero.
