Grand Designs: Bromley

SYNOPSIS

Inspired by an illustration on a yoghurt pot, Chris Ostwald decides to build a New England-style water mill in the Chilterns, on a hill and nowhere near any water. Londoner Chris bought the plot 20 years ago and it has always been his dream to build a retreat for himself and his family. As part of the fun, he decides to build the timber kit house himself.
