SYNOPSIS

Holmes is perplexed by his brother Mycroft's eccentric behaviour. Mycroft seems obsessed with a recent murder case. The killing is of little interest to Holmes until Mycroft reveals its link with the defence of the realm, and the theft of some vital and secret submarine plans.
