The Great British Sewing Bee: 1960s Week

SYNOPSIS

The sewing room is transported back to the 1960s as the six remaining contestants revive vintage garments, take on time-honoured techniques and wrestle with antique equipment in an attempt to show Patrick Grant and Esme Young they deserve a place in the quarter finals. For their first task they are asked to follow a pattern for a colour block dress, then must work with PVC to transform a rain mac in the alteration challenge, before creating fitted jackets inspired by the era.
