SYNOPSIS

The A&E staff of King's College Hospital in London face a busy shift dealing with alcohol-related injuries, from Saturday-night drunks to cases such as 39-year-old Sean, who tripped over a clothes-horse and broke his neck, and 56-year-old David, a long-term alcoholic who injured his head in a fall in the street.
