SYNOPSIS

New series. The drama series set in 1930s colonial India returns, picking up the story three years on from the first series. The British viceroy is seriously injured in a terrorist attack. Aafrin is suspected of being involved and tries to keep his double life as a nationalist spy a secret. He discovers Alice has now married an Englishman, but their feelings for each other remain unresolved. Cynthia pushes Ralph to advance his career, but Madeleine has other plans.
