Great American Railroad Journeys: New York City to Garrison

SYNOPSIS

Michael Portillo follows the Hudson River north, riding from New York on the US's national rail service, Amtrak. He finds out about some of the nation's most infamous train robbers and hears the story of writer Washington Irving, the author of Sleepy Hollow, before finally reaching Garrison, the site of many guerrilla battles during the Wars of Independence.
