SYNOPSIS

Travelling salesman Ronald Wallace dies, apparently from a fall, while role playing batman with his blindfolded, bed-cuffed wife in a Boston hotel room. Maura doubts that, and after accompanying Jane to a resort in a mesmerizing mood and wrestling with impossible computer simulation results has an epiphany that someone else must have hit him on the head, swinging an oddly-shaped object with great force. The detectives find out that Ronald was a bigamist, having two wives in two different states, who may have found out.
