SYNOPSIS

Korsak's terminally ill old friend of in prison asks him to solve the case that put him there - the death of his wife and daughter killed in a home arson 15 years earlier, in the hope to reconcile his surviving, now adult son who has not spoken to him in years. Korsak promises only one Sunday of review but takes the case file to Maura's house, where modern techniques and her forensic thoroughness, aided by Frankie and Jane, awaiting medical clearance to return to work and 'stealing' information from the evidence room, help solve the 'closed' case. The real killers, members of a biker gang, made a terrible mistake. Angela secretly keeps the mail from Jane that contains her clearance letter.
