SYNOPSIS

Bi li Nelson Mandela postao velikan bez Frederika de Klerka? I obrnuto? To je pitanje i više nego značajno ako se u obzir uzmu razmjeri povezanosti sudbina prvog južnoafričkog crnog predsjednika i posljednjeg vođe apartheida.
Od oslobođenja vođe afričkog nacionalnog kongresa 1990. do njegova izbora za predsjednika 1994., a i poslije, dva neprijatelja vodila su gorku bitku u kontekstu užasnog nasilja u kojem je stradalo 14.000 ljudi. Kroz nepopustljive pregovore te političke i osobne sukobe ovaj nas film vodi u srce dvoboja koji je dokrajčio najodvratniji politički režim na planetu.
